RUDY TOPS HILL AS NO. 1 POWERBROKER By VINCENT MORRIS

The surge of Republican congressional victories last night marked a setback for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton - even as it offered fresh proof that Rudy Giuliani can influence a race.

Clinton, through campaign appearances and money from her PAC, backed dozens of House and Senate candidates who lost yesterday - including several who were high priorities for her.

The only sight that could be prettier than this one is that of Hill and Bill in orange prison jumpsuits!

By contrast, Giuliani backed a handful of candidates who did well yesterday, including incumbent senators in Colorado, Georgia and Kentucky, as well as Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, Elizabeth Dole in North Carolina and John Sununu in New Hampshire.

Giuliani also was behind Robert Ehrlich in Maryland, who pulled off an upset win there, and Mitt Romney in Massachusetts, who also won.

Lord love him and I know He does, Rudy worked almost as hard as President Bush himself for GOP candidates!
He really campaigned well and with a cheerful heart and all because he believes that President Bush, his Administration and the GOP have "better good ideas" about winning the War on Islamist Terrorism!
