Newly elected Congresswoman Katherine Harris has the last laugh

Here's one of last night's very sweet GOP victories!
When I think of what those Liberal Dims put this good woman through because she was simply doing her job and abiding by state election laws as the Secretary of State of Florida during the Election 2000 controversy, I could weep for her--yet again.
I must have emailed her half-a-dozen times back then with messages of support and encouragement and my prayers for her guidance.
The Libs skewered her for her make-up!
There was even the rumor, very widely spread in Donk circles, that she and Gov. Jeb Bush were having an extra-marital affair!
If we Republicans had tried to give this same treatment to one of their female office holders--which we would not!--they would have screamed bloody murder, as they should, and accused us of engaging in the "politics of personal destruction."
And, of course, no man would have been criticized seriously based only on his facial appearance or his clothes!
Well, all things really do come to she who waits...
How marvelous to see that dear Katherine made the most of the whole experience, in addition to the fact that she stood up for herself in November 2000, up to and including defending her Certification of the Florida vote in front of the U.S. Supreme Court!
She's obviously very professional and capable and I like her new "clean" makeup look, too!
Look at that lovely, happy face--she's just beaming!
Lucky Floridians that have Congressperson Harris for their new U.S Representative!

[Oh! and did I forget to mention that they even harped on the fact that she was a Committed Christian? Well, yes, Team Gore did that, too, bless their pointy little heads!]
