Carter warns against 'catastrophic' war

Former US president Jimmy Carter has warned of the potentially "catastrophic consequences" of a pre-emptive US war on Iraq.
The comments came in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech in Oslo.

Brokered and signed the Camp David Accords in 1978 between Israel and Egypt
Persuaded former North Korean dictator Kim Il Sung to open discussions with South Korea
Mediated in Haiti in 1994
Helped broker ceasefire in Bosnia
Made 2002 landmark visit to Cuba, calling for dialogue

Do not get me started on Carter!
The BBC wouldn't put Carter's "achievements" in quotation marks (for once!) so I did.
What exactly did this man accomplish...much less for world peace?
Clearly, his "work" in Haiti, Bosnia and Cuba amounted to a lot of lip-flapping that didn't fix any problems there and only provided photo ops for him and his (Tranzy) cause...
As for Camp David, as I fume while writing this, I can only say that he should get a prize, alright...for setting up the whole farce of "Land for Peace" that got Israel into 20 more years of bitter struggle for her survival and which ultimately set up the Intifada we're in now--with the help of his love child Billy Jeff Clintoon and his "Camp David" talks.
And North Korea?!? Well, they have Jimmuh to thank for their nukeyalar weapons program that they developed in direct contravention of the 1994 "Agreement" that Jimmy Peanut brokered for Clintoon, too.
Lest we forget, there was also his weak response to Khameini's overthrow of the Shah in Iran, a staunch ally and friend of the U.S. for decades, and the revolutionaries taking of our embassy people hostage, which led to the Russians invading Afghanistan, which led to the rise of the Mujihadeen there and Osama Ben Laden, which led to the establishment of Al Queda and the Taliban...which led to 9/11/01.
If the U.S. is at the brink of "catastrophic war" in various places all over the globe, we have Jimmy to thank indeed.
He knows whereof he speaks, he just talks in the language of grits and Cloud Cuckoo Land.
Also like Clintoon, Carter has no shame making such a public show of claiming this "sucker" prize!
Instead of getting this "honor" (Yasser Arafat keeps his Nobel next to his Baby Wipes), Jimmuh Peanut should be put up against a wall and shot for High Treason!
