Latest war rumors
Here's several reports that are unconfirmed and/or breaking on the front:
--An unknown number of Iraqi troops surrendered to a contingent of Marines as they crossed the border into Iraq.
--An officer in the Iraqi Army says that the Iraqi military is "breaking from within"
--3-4 oil wells are reported to be on fire in the oil fields outside of Basra.
--King Abdullah's government has rounded up
Islamic "militants" in Jordan.
--On the home front, there's been a threat to the largest US nuclear power plant Palo Verde outside of Phoenix, AZ.
--There's supposed to be a major air offensive coming "tonight," by which I take it that they mean the Baghdad nighttime.
