Iraqi-American relations: Already characterised by warmth and good humor

U.S. Army Spc. Kenneth Clark, from Woodward, Okla., puffs up his cheeks like the baby he was handed while being welcomed by Iraqis in Baghdad on Wednesday.
GI Clark, too funny! You should run for office back home with those baby-handling skills and excellent PR work!
And would these Iraqi ladies and mothers trust "evil occupiers" with their babies?
I think not!

Marine Lance Cpl. Lloyd Williams of Camp Pendleton's Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, from Georgetown, S.C., accepts a flower from a young Iraqi girl as residents look on just outside of Baghdad's central city area Wednesday.

Talk about your precious moments...!
Can you believe this big, tough Marine with a big gun, too, having this tender exhange of a flower and smile with what looks like the Iraqi version of Cindy Lu Who?
It is just wonderful to share this liberation with our troops via TV and pictures (almost as good as being there) and from the courtly, gentlemanly and what I can only describing as loving nature of our Coalition troops in Iraq, I feel as if I am there and that they're doing these good deeds on behalf of myself and all other Americans who are of good will and love freedom.
Thank you, guys and gals of the military for all the good you do in our name!

Meer Ako Ali holds a sign thanking President Bush on Wednesday in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. Kurdish people came out to celebrate the fall of Baghdad.

And what can you say about this one (also another charming child, BTW) except that the Bushie Right Wing Conspiracy is far vaster than anyone--even Hillary--ever thought!
Go Iraqi Kurds! Be free!
