Netherlands to Send Extra Troops to Iraq The Cabinet on Friday approved dispatching an additional 108 troops to Iraq, increasing the number of Dutch forces in the region to 1,260. Thanks a zillion to the Dutch! (Who would have thought they could show up the French?!) S. Korea Approves Sending Troops to Iraq South Korean Parliament Approves Plan to Send 3,000 Troops to Iraq; Third-Largest Commitment And thanks also to the South Koreans! (This must be a way for them to express their gratitude for the 50 years our troops have protected them from northern invasion and for our tough diplomacy now dealing with the nuclear NorKs.)
