Carter Urges U.S. to Close Down Gitmo

Former President Carter on Tuesday called for the United States to shut down the Guantanamo Bay prison to demonstrate its commitment to human rights.

Uh, Jimmuh, we're not out to demonstrate "human rights;" we're leading a global war against Islamist terror, a war you pretty much started when you left the Iranian mullahs unpunished for seizing our embassy people in Tehran and letting Islamist fanatics grab power from the Shah.

Despite his criticism of Guantanamo Bay, Carter said Amnesty International should not have called the prison "the gulag of our time" in a report last month. President Bush has termed the report by the human-rights group "absurd."

Isn't it nice to know that "leading" Dims take their talking points from Tom Friedman of the NYSlimes, who was the first genius to announce their "Close Gitmo" plan?
The Koran abuse stories have been discounted and there's nothing to suggest the prisoners there are being mistreated or abused in any way.
The 500 inmates of Gitmo, incarerated for being active participants in the WOT in a modern 21st century facility, can in no way compare to the victims of Stalin's horrendous régime of Siberian slave labor camps or collectivist farms of the 1930's.
Have we forgotten that when we brought these killers to Guantanamo Bay, they masturbated in front of their female guards, squeezed their toothpaste issue up their anuses, and fought over the Fruit Loops?
These are bad men and too many of them that "human rights" pressure have gotten released from the camp have returned to the battlefield, thus proving that the camp is there for the right reason and that its inhabitants are there for a darn good reason, also.
Unlike the victims of Stalin, these prisoners aren't innocent pawns of a tyrannical despot.
The war isn't over and I don't want these war criminals being housed in jails within my borders, because we cannot just let them go...or what does former President Peanut suggest we do with these jihadi murderers?
Close down Gitmo? Nope. Close down Carter, Biden and Friedman!
And take Billary with you!
